Your pets, illustrated in Nelly’s style
A personal portrait of one to four pets in Nelly Castro’s distinctive, playful illustration style: softly textured colours, simplified features and deliberately stylised proportions. Expression, eye treatment and body proportions follow Nelly’s artistic language throughout the process. Look through the examples before ordering. Your pet’s character is captured through recognisable details such as coat colour, markings, ears, posture and a familiar collar. This is an abstract illustration rather than a photorealistic likeness.
€95 includes one pet; each additional pet costs €30. This portrait includes pets only, without additional objects or a background. The images shown are style examples, not a preview of your finished portrait.
What to send us
Provide clear reference photos of each pet, showing its face and full body, and identify each animal by name. Describe species or breed, coat colour and markings, ears, distinctive features, typical posture and any collar, plus your wishes for their arrangement. Include all important details in your brief.
You can upload photos with your order or send them later. Contact us with your order number to send missing photos or information.
How your portrait is created

Order and share your brief. Choose one to four pets, then send your photos and descriptions. Your order joins our production pipeline; illustration work does not begin immediately after checkout.

Questions, if needed. Nelly reviews your materials and may contact you by email to clarify details.

Your first draft by email. You will receive the first draft approximately three weeks after we have received all required photos and information and clarified any open questions.

One revision round is included. Review the draft carefully and send your requested adjustments together in one reply. The price includes one round of adjustments within the agreed brief and Nelly’s illustration style. Further revision rounds are not included.

Your approval, then printing. Once you approve the illustration, it is sent to the printer. Please check all details before giving your approval. Your portrait is printed on 350 g/m² paper in 30 × 40 cm.

Printing and dispatch. Allow up to two weeks after approval for printing and preparation for dispatch. This stage can take longer during the summer. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination.
Please plan enough time
The first draft and printing are separate stages. The time you need to review the draft, the included revision round and any missing information can extend the overall schedule. If you send your photos later, the draft timeframe starts only when your brief is complete and open questions have been clarified. We therefore do not promise a fixed delivery date from the day of purchase. If the portrait is for a particular occasion, contact us before ordering to check whether your date is possible.
